A bit more about my approach & astrology in general:

I use a combination of traditional and modern techniques in the Western/Tropical astrological tradition. This lineage can be traced back through the Greek and Hellenistic systems that were informed by the Babylonian, Chaldean, Vedic, and Arabic traditions. I am influenced in particular by the teachings and offerings of Renee Sills, Blair Bogan *sisterbride*, Chani Nicolas, Alice Sparkly Kat, Melanie Reinhart, Demetra George, and the celestial bodies themselves.

Humans have been observing and tracking the heavens in correlation to historical events for a very long time: astrology is an ancient wisdom and practice dating back to 2500 BC!! It is a body of knowledge and symbolic language that has been built and honed for centuries. :o

Tropical astrology is based on the patterns of seasonal light as opposed to the constellations. In astrology's origins, the belt of sky through which the planets moved around the Earth was divided into 12 equal sections, each named after the prominent constellation in each section at the time, giving us the Zodiac. Since then the Earth has titled on its axis, thus the sidereal alignment has shifted, but the timing of the seasons as we revolve around the sun has remained relatively the same. Astrological charts are a map of the sky from any place on Earth at any moment in time. Birth charts are a map of where every planet was at the exact moment you took your first breath, and can be interpreted using astrological knowledge to gain insight into different areas of your life. There is also much more to astrology than just birth charts- working with current transits, timing techniques, and astrocartography are a few to name plus many more! I am excited to continue to grow my practice to offer services beyond natal consultations in the coming months and years. I am also super excited to begin teaching astrology someday soon. Stay tuned!
